2. Data we collect

Account data

• Your email address, used to create and secure your account.
• Authentication tokens that keep you signed in.

Trip data you provide

• Trip dates, origin, destinations, and accommodation locations.
• Flight numbers (used to detect layovers and suggest transport options).
• Travel preferences (e.g. exploring, leisure, partying, cultural) and transport choices.
• Past trips, completion status, photos, and notes you add to your travel history.

Usage data

• Basic technical information such as app version, device type, and crash diagnostics, used to keep the service reliable.

3. How we use your data

• To generate personalized, weather-aware day-by-day itineraries.
• To save your trips, history, and the world map of places you have visited.
• To operate, secure, and improve the app.
• To respond to your support requests.

4. Third-party services

To build itineraries we share the minimum necessary information with trusted providers:

• OpenAI: to generate itinerary suggestions from your trip inputs.
• Google Places: to look up location details, opening hours, and points of interest.
• Visual Crossing: to retrieve weather forecasts for your travel dates.
• Wikimedia and Unsplash: to fetch photos of destinations.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and trip data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time - see our account deletion page.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

8. Children

Nomazee is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
